Where the cable enters the house there was a plastic moulding covering the hole in the brickwork. That cover has fallen off and needs replacing.

Thanks for that. Can't remember exactly when I reported this but seems a while ago and there has been no follow up from Virgin. Are you able to poke them in the ribs?
Satisfactorily fixed today.
