CLEAN INSTALL

I don't care much about recordings as everything is repeated every night it seems anyway so I decided to go to settings and the last option in the restart list clear and delete everything which is effectively a new clean software install and so far its all working fine ,no more lags or freezes ,all problems i was having are gone ,like a pc such a large software update is better done clean but I don't recommend for everyone ,if you can live with losing all recordings then its up to you so don't blame me but it has worked, for me ......so far....Smiley Happy

Hi guys,

 

Great to hear this worked for you!

 

Another thing you can try is clearing the unnecessary background data from the TiVo® every now and again.

 

To do this, just go to the Home screen and on your remote control press Thumbs Down, Thumbs Up, Play, Play. You'll hear 'ping' noise and the screen will go blank for a few seconds.

Once it comes back on you'll notice the box speed up!
