Box not powering

Hi. My box isn't working. It lights up for a second and then goes blank... it has been intermittently cutting out for a few weeks and restarting it was working although now it seems to just die after two seconds

Hey Vic41,

Have you checked the Service Status page on my.virginmedia.com to see if there is a fault in the area, causing the issue?

If not, this may be a case of a box that is on its way out, and you may need to get the box replaced. May be worth a quick call to the Faults Management Teams on 0345 454 1111 / 150 from a virgin landline, and see if they can see anything wrong with the box.

The only downside, is that if it does need to be replaced, and you have recordings, they would be lost.
