Some of the new Samsung smart tv's don't have the BBC IPlayer app but does this mean I can't view it altogether Ipeen though I have Virgin broadband?
If the Smart TV doesn't have a BBC iPlayer app then it is wanting, not Virgin Media broadband.
What you could do is buy a streaming device, such as a Chromecast, which connects to your TV then stream BBC iPlayer programs to your TV that way.
Very strange. What is the Samsung model number?
There is an option on mine to link to the Samsung App Store and I'm pretty sure iPlayer was on there when I last looked.
They didn't have the BBC radio player though, but neither do VM.
As far as I know radio catch-up has now to be done only on iPad, tablet, or computer unless anybody has worked out something I've missed??
Chromecast/Amazon etc., usb devices might be your last resort, though having to pay extra for what is generally regarded as an essential on ALL new tv sets does seem wrong.
Post back and keep the forum advised ....please. B
