Why has it took 6 hours (so far at time of posting) and not yet sorted to activate a new TiVo box when the error message clearly states upto 30 minutes??

Sorry to hear you've had trouble activating your TiVo®.
I've located your account and the TiVo® is looking great at the moment. Occasionally, it can take a little longer for the activation signal to reach the box.
Keep an eye on it and give me a shout if you get any more problems.
