ANNOYING CHANNEL MENU.

Why does the Tivo box always start from the first program when you wish to change a channel i.e. if I am watching channel 72 & wish to move forward through the menu the menu always starts back at the beginning of the menu (channel 1) Why can't VM's techs tweak their software to enable the user to access the program/channel menu at the program/channel they are watching rather than having to start his channel search over again from the beginning (channel 1) I can do this on my Freeview TV's!

Re: ANNOYING CHANNEL MENU.

The Mini Guide does exactly that. Simply press OK, rather than Menu.

Re: ANNOYING CHANNEL MENU.

Or if like me you don't want to use the very limited mini guide, you can press the power button first before pressing the guide button and the guide starts from where you are Smiley Happy

Re: ANNOYING CHANNEL MENU.

Actual top tip.
I can confirm that this works, but have no idea why I didn't know this.
