My Cisco has received the update in the last few days. It has caused a sound problem that is somewhat different to the one discussed at length in the other threads.
The optical output is not in use. The only connection is HDMI. Since the update I still have the correct Dolby 5.1 or 2.0 on the HD channels, but no sound at all on any SD channel.
Sorry to learn about this issue, I want to help to get to the bottom of this right away.
What's your audio output set as on the TiVo box at the moment? If you're set to Dolby Digital, are you able to test the PCM setting?
We're also not able to connect to the set top box from our end at the moment, would you know if it was turned off at the time of this post?
We'll talk soon

Output is set to Dolby and works fine where Dolby is used (HD channels).
Where Dolby is not used (SD channels) I get no sound at all.
The TiVo is always on and I can access it OK from the anywhere site.
I can confirm that this issue started immediately upon being updated to 220.127.116.11.
Thank you for your reply.

If you're still getting this sound issue, let me know and I can help further.
The sound issue still remains as described.
However, as every season pass is already set to HD channels and all my existing recordings are from the HD channels, it is a problem that does not really affect me too much.
Although caused by the same firmware update, having no sound on the SD channels is minor compared to the problem that optical connection users are having.
Thanks for coming back and sticking with us on this one.
I'm sorry this is still an issue for you.
As minor as you may consider it, we'd still like to get to the bottom of this for you.
