2nd Tivo Box

I have a Tivo Box

A second Tivo Box was delivered to replace a V+, called the activation number as the first step.

On the original box, have lost all channels bar free to air, and there is now a large purple banner message in the middle of the screen with error code 7400.

The newly activated box, doesn't work either.

Spent 45 mins on the phone with a VM Rep couldn't fix it, was supposed to be getting transferred to something called 2nd line support, but line went dead, and its now gone 10pm, so no one there!

Have rebooted boxes multiple times without success.

Hi thats very annoying, I know its a pain but I think you need to persevere & ring again and request an engineer come to fix the problem. Regards Micky

After swapping all boxes around and a process if elimination, was originally told it was a cabling issue, must have connected wrong, they then worked out I had one Cisco and one Samsung Tivo box, and as the Cisco had a flashing green light not solid, it had somehow developed a fault, so they are now sending new box, only took about 4 hours overall to resolve.
