Yey for weekends, unuseable internet all day once again.

 

The best bit? Recieving a nice letter from Virgin advertising the internet in my area - 60mb they advertised - 6 times faster than the national average - use skype to contact your loved ones.. Nice bit of false advertising eh? Not a single of those "promises" are remotely true.

Since Friday my internet has actually got worse, has this work been carried out? Was it a success? I can tell you now they've made it worse than it was before.

My internet tonight, 30% packet loss and an average ping of around 200, not including the constant disconnects.

 

When is there going to be an improvement? Getting sick and tired of not being able to use my internet at anytime.

Hi Draex,

 

The work was completed for this fault reference which has dropped the utilisation by more than half but I believe that further work will need to be carried out.

 

Could you please provide us with a traceroute to bbc.co.uk to see if we can spot anything else that could be casuing an issue?

Sorry, but you've halved the utilisation? At least try and be credible with your claims. The service has got worse - still got 30% + packet loss and and average ping of 300 in any game

Please do not tell me you've improved the service by half.. It's one thing your company being completly incompetent and not providing the service advertised for nearly 8months.. It's another bare faced lying to your customers and stringing them along.

 

Nearly 80% packet loss at some times last night - my parents haven't been able to use skype to contact our family in Belgium for months. It's disgusting, how can you sit there and actually try and tell me it's improved by over half? The poor service now starts around 2pm (used to be 6pm) and finishes at 2am (used to be around 12) including 2 massive disconnects which took ages to come back online.

Tonights terrible service why don't you, instead of spouting lies on the forum about work that has obviously NOT taken place and speak to your supervisor and actually try and get the problem fixed.

 

It's got completly worse, Friday there was a slight improvement, then Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday it's got much much worse.

 

I have a complete catalogue of the service over the past 10+ days
