My SuperHub has just been rebooted and now there are a couple of options I cannot find on the admin screen,
Previously, it worked more like a "standard" NetGear router and all the options were available ... things like setting the DHCP range of IP Addresses such that you can have a set of "reserved" addresses for static IP Addresses. I don't need to actually change these at the moment ... but I don't like the idea of starting to hide options from users.
Also, and more importantly, there is no way to configure the DNS server(s) that are quoted in the DHCP lease allocation messages that are sent to the client ... they are hard-coded to be the Virgin DNS. I want to be able to point everything that connects to my own DNS (that internally uses OpenDNS to filter lookups so my kids are more "protected").

Hi peacocb,
I'm assuming that you are referring to the new firmware update (R36). I don't think the facilities you mention have changed? With the R36 gui, Advanced settings/DHCP will allow you to specify LAN DHCP IP address ranges and reserve them. To specify a different DNS will have to be done on each PC, to my knowledge this hasn't changed from the previous R30 firmware?

Ah yes Nicola, I found the options I was looking for in the DHCP section.
