PS3 50mb superhub drop outs

Hi all

Can anyone give me any pointers on this.

I changed to VM with the 50mb superhub because my sky broadband speed was less than 8mb

but since then my PS3 has been having lots of lag, dropout issues and constant disconnections.

Fifa 12 Ultimate team is unplayable due to disconnections.

Im not for going into modem mode as my two sons use there xbox360's and the laptop is obvio wireless.

Virgin Media...any update on a fix?

Have you tried doing it via a wired connection, wireless is rubbish for gaming even if you have decent wilress and the superhub has subpar wireless so you're screwed with that, also what games are you trying, TBH i have no dropouts in games on a wired connection but then again i'm not using a console designed to play gamers over what is essentially a peer to peer network layout so mine are all through dedicated servers.

I've had a engineer out to sort my upstream problems out 3 times now, and there still the same,

How do you get an engineer to come out?

Post what problems your having, And if you have any Staff will more than likely contact you if a Engineer can fix it.

I have exactly the same issue. I have upgraded to 50mb with a superhub and cancelled my sky broadband and now i can only get my PS3 to work if it is in modem mode which isnt practical for the whole family not having any wireless.

Is there a fix?
