Well, I had 50mb for months, before it became unusable. So I switched back to the 10mb service, and back to my trusty Ambit modem. Speeds were great (albeit limited to 10mb) and 100x more usable than the 50mb service.
So, I was reliably informed by VM that the over utilisation issue on my local hub was fixed, so thought I'd upgrade and enjoy blisteringly fast downloads again.....Big mistake.
The jerkiness and constant buffering on steaming media is back to haunt me.
This is my thinkbroadband monitor from yesterday (10mb service):

And this is mine so far today:

Can this be looked into, as I'm sure it's just going to get worse as the evening progresses (don't worry, will update later)...
Thanks,

I'm in Acton also (Greenford specifically, Area 21), and these are my results :

Incredibly slow, for weeks now.
I usually remote login from my work, and check my e-mails etc, used to be fine, but last few weeks it's been as if I'm on dialup, I click on a button and wait 2 or 3 seconds before a response comes.
I have relatives in the same area, all experiencing slow down as well, my brother had his internet completely cut off, called support, was told an engineer will come 2 days later, and the following day received an automated call saying it was fixed, but the speed is still slow.
Can someone respond please ? it is unbearable at the moment, and things only seem to be back on track at 1am until 6am, which is really redundant, as most of us have work the next day, and this kind of service is not much use.

Here's the BBMax test (I forgot to add I'm also on the supposed 50Meg service) :
http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/results.php?t=132

These results are from a wired connection by the way, so it couldn't be faster from my side.

Hi garmcqui
Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the broadband speeds in your area.
I have had a look into the issue and discovered that there is an open fault ticket for high utilisation, on ref F001761613, this has an estimated resolved date of 28/03/2012.

its outrageous that VM upgrade people when they know that areas are over utilised. VM are going downhill, whats it going to be like when they double the speeds

28th MARCH?
This is proposterous! Why did Mark_Wilco tell me this fault was restored?
Re: F001761613 - any update? on 30-12-201115:30
Hi garmcqui
Ticket F001761613 is showing as restored.

Hi garmcqui
Sometimes faults can be closed as fixed and then be opened again. This will happen when we find the fault is happening again from what I can see this is what’s has happened with this ticket and we are now working on this to get it resolved .
