Re: 50Mb Upgrade Issues

My understanding is that ticket did not cover the downstream part of my issues which have hence not been fixed.

This clearly relates to the repeated posting of the following:

Download is still rubbish - This statement appears to be being continually ignored. Please do something about it - I do not get close to 50Mb

I see 30Mb at absolute best and this tails off at the times I actually want decent bandwidth.

Please use plain text.

I am still to recieve a response regaarding downstream bandwidth. Hence I will make this simple for you.

Please simply confirm one of the two statements:

  • My poor downstream bandwidth is caused by over utlisation rather than by any fixable technical fault and hence will not be addressed.

  • My poor downstream bandwidth is caused by a fixable technical fault but will not be addressed because [fill in blank].

Hi TomDuff,

I apologise for the delay in responding to your post.

I am unable to confirm either of your two statements;

  • There is not a downstream utilisation issue.

  • There is not a technical fault, fixable or otherwise.

Extensive testing of the network shows no SNR issue, no FEC errors, no utilisation issue... In fact every diagnostic test run indicates no fault at all.

Could you please do the following:

Hardwire directly to the Superhub in modem mode only or hardwire to hub and disable the wireless.

Reboot pc into SafeModeWithNetworking.

Download 2 demo games simultaneously from here.

Please post the transfer rates.

Kind Regards,

Jen_A
