The site has had me down for a doubling of speed for july for the last few months.

Nothing has happened yet is there a 'slippage' please.

When is the proposed increase for BS postcodes [Bristol]

Yeah it is pretty indefensible that some customers get speed 2x whilst others get speed x - and both are paying the same price on a supposedly national service.

Virgin - should be ashamed of the hype 'cos it grates for those of us who are disadvantaged by the rollout order.

To be honest, I am delighted that we in the Staverton area actually got upgraded in "May-July" - in fact early in July - because last time there was a speed upgrade (4 Mbps to 10 Mbps, was it?) we were the very last area in the whole of the UK to get this upgrade!

Similar issues for me. My Virginmedia been telling me all year that it would start in July and then comes July and it says Dec 2012 to Feb 2013. Perhaps they should put Usain to work on the upgrades instead of talking about it. My brother lives 1 mile away and had his done 6 weeks ago. They are making a big deaL about the upgrade in the media but talk is cheap - or perhaps not if they are paying for Usain and now added Mo to the roster. Simply not good enough and not very honest of Virgin. These are the things you remember and consider when looking around at other providers. Can't help feeling that date will change again. Virgin say that this doubling is free but as soon as it was announced they added £4 to my monthly bill which was only acceptable if the speed was doubling a couple of months later but not 12 months later. That is £48 for nothing.

I gave in and added M+ Tv and 30meg B band for an added 3.50 amonth first month free 12 month contract for existing customers.

I had a phone call saying they could double it tomorrow if I upgraded my service to add TV or a better phone package.  I said no, was not interested, and my double speed seems to have slipped from Septemer 2012 to May - August 2013.

Suspicious, Some would say so.
