Would they get that right? Plus they'll never do it ecause the higher priority stuff will never get finished - LOL.
And yet they find time to come up with this new GUI!
But is it only wretched before VM staff use/want/forced to use router mode?Sephiroth wrote:
It's quite interesting, this. VM staff have to tread a careful line on the forum when it comes to this wretched device. They all know just how wretched it is but can't say so.

lol is this better............
Just the job but when you fix this don't forget to renable the Router Status link for Remote Access as well - pretty please!.
To do that you may have to beef up security to overcome VM's declared reason for disabling this for remote access in the first place! Although it begs the imponderable question as to why the same information was left available since the SH launched years ago and not rectified earlier anyway! ![]()

Is that some surreal attempt at Picasso expressionism or did you as I suspect try that remote access with one of your toy Windows virtual machines running OSX as a guest?
Did the bootloader actually display "Copyright of the Regents of University of The Pirate Bay" by any chance?
While I'm genuinely sorry (yet secretly hoping
) you have actually "bricked" your SH, you have to admit it is marginally more functional (but not a lot) as a decorative door stop!
It is totally unimaginable as to how VM new project/firmware team actually managed to succumb/buckle to VM's Marketing Director's beancounter mentality and actually pass this absurd "glossy/matt black elephant" thru Design/Development Verification Testing, let alone into Internal alpha/beta testing and eventually into the actual user CPE environment..... Mind boggling!

Did a couple of posts get circumschnickled?

Not sure I understand that Bracknell vernacular but my SOCO forensics guy and pathologist have reported some finger prints on the VM community chocolate bar and welt marks on the users lower limbs likely inflicted by a hunting whip if that's relevant?
In your professional opinion Sir do you think it's likely that this could in anyway be related to a "SH Hidden power levels zero day exploit virus"? It does seem very coincidental and now we're all up to speed on CRSF one can't be too careful - would you like to flag a mod or shall I?
Alternatively as your closer than me you could pop down the road to Hook and give our mate Neil a quick nod & heads-up perhaps? Ah I forgot it's Sunday - try the golf course.....
....ok don't bother I think a mod is on her way.....eee...oooo those Prince of Wales spurs offset with rowel look very fetching dear.....

Yes - unfortunately a tad off topic - but you didn't miss anything exciting, although it did devolve to an equestrian theme(can't imagine who instigated that?) if that elaborates sufficiently on the context?
PS:Try the Virgile Joly Languedoc 2011 - a very pleasant blend.....
