Virgin Media Broadband L Upload Speed Increase To 1Mb

Why cant everyone on the 10Mb package have there speed upgraded straight away since the equipment installed can already handle up to 1.5Mb due to the 50Mb package?

Because extra capacity needs to be added to the network in each area being upgraded to allow all customers to get the higher upload

Virgin will have been testing the increased uploads in each area before upgrading all customers in that area.

Once the upgrade is confirmed and permanent the area will be added to the list at www.virginmedia.com/fasteruploads

Hi bigbod87,

I can confirm that the network you connect to has not been upgraded yet.

Thanks

Hello m00nlightsh4d0w,

The honest answer is we don't know as we have not been provided with the upgrade schedule. Keep checking the website posted earlier in this thread for further information.
