SYNC Timing Synchronization failure

I am getting this message a lot at the moment causing problems with the broadband connection and My TV pictures are freezing quite a lot. Need some help. I have called virgin media two days ago and they said it would be fixed in 24-48 hrs but it hasnt.

 

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;
 Sat Feb 25 22:16:25 2012   Critical (3)  SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing;;
 Sat Feb 25 22:15:53 2012   Critical (3)  SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing;
 Sat Feb 25 22:14:59 2012   Critical (3)  Unicast Ranging Received Abort Response - Re-initializing 
 Sat Feb 25 22:14:33 2012   Critical (3)  No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;
 Sat Feb 25 22:13:41 2012   Critical (3)  SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing;
 Sat Feb 25 22:13:39 2012   Critical (3)  Unicast Ranging Received Abort Response - Re-initializing MAC;
 Sat Feb 25 22:09:07 2012   Critical (3)  Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;
 Sat Feb 25 22:08:34 2012   Critical (3)  Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received -

Has this issue now been resolved for you?

 

I have checked your connection and am unable to find any fault.
