I've been getting a lot of ping spikes as of late on game servers and when doing Speedtests. I can be on a server with a steady ping of 40ms, then it'll spike to 700ms and then slowly steady again. It's got a lot frequent the past 2 days and is hindering my performance and playability. It's also not just isolated to me, as my friend gets ping spikes too on different servers and he's a mile away from me, something which I have witnessed myself. My modem stats seem to be fine and there's nothing abnormal in the Event Log.

I can't show you my logs as I exceed the 20000 character limit.

3 days and still no reply, yet you reply to others.
Anyways, last night, my ping was yoyoing again really bad. Kept jumping from 900ms to 18ms, to 88, to 300 and so on. I've also noticed when I'm capped, my upload is next to non-existant, I get 0.11MB upload, that's literally nothing. i might as well use my phone in that case, at least that gives me 1.5MB upload!

Sorry we have not responded sooner, the reason for this is the order in which we reply to posts is based on the date/time of the last post within the thread. Each subsequent post within this thread essentially put the thread to the back of the queue. Therefore 'bumping' posts generally has the opposite affect.
Could you clarify if you are using a router? Our records show you are but your trace route is indicating you're not? Could you try and upload a file to your Personal Web Space and let me know the upload speed? Is this happening on just gaming or browsing too? The trace route you posted looks fine and cannot see an issue there.

I see how the system works now.
Yeah I am using a router. I did a traceroute without my router as the guidelines said not to. I'll get another one with my router, just in case that's at fault. Do you want me to upload this file when I'm capped or uncapped? It's not as apparent on browsing, but gaming is the main problem. And I couldn't see anything either.

If you could post that for us that would be brilliant.
