Hi,
For the past week or so, since my connection was restored after a week of downtime, it's been impossible to play any online game due to lag issues in peak times.
My postcode area is London, N9
Are there any ongoing issues with it at the moment?

same in NW5. these upgrades seem to be a bit too much for the network... I've had numerous "access denied" just this last week, and customer support team has nothing on it. it's a bit of a joke tbh.

This is a bit of a joke. I've got about 1.6 Mbps the last few evenings, I can't do anything with the net at all. Having a game is impossible.
Is this the new throttling thing they were going on about?
If you call the helpline, you wait for 30 minutes before being hung up on. I'd be better off with Sky!

*bump*
This is still ongoing. Seems like a bit of a lottery here whether you get an official reply or not. I miss the newsgroups ![]()

Hi brh1,
Sorry you have been experiencing problems
Since the fault you refer to on around the 19/04, upstream utilisation on your cable has climbed markedly, I have raised this with our outage team for further investigation as there appears to be a cabling or load balancing issue here.
As soon as we have any update on this we'll let you know.

This is still ongoing, and if anything has actually got worse.
Has there been any updates or attempts to fix this?

Hi brh1,
The UBR which handles your connection is currently suffering from very high utilisation, particularly at peak times. This has been raised to our network teams under reference F002003234. Work to resolve this issue is currently scheduled to take place on 04/07/2012 (although this may be subject to change).
We're very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
