No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Hi,

 

For the last few months I have been having alot of bother with my virgin media internet connection. First problem I had was the connection to the modem kept being lost, I  contacted customer support numerous times and  eventually a technician came out around 3 weeks ago and fitted a new modem/router, which seemed to have solved the problem.

 

However my problem now is the error message highlighted in the message subject along with,  DHCP FAILED - Requested Info not supported. Any help or advice on resolving my issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have checked your connection and have identified a local upstream issue on your chassis (local router) related to rising FEC errors which will be causing the problems you have been experiencing. I have passed this to our network teams to resolve, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I have the same problem as well I am afraid. I have had numerous technicians out but they have failed to solve it. I was wondering if there was anything you guys could do?

Hi,

 

Just found this thread and i appear to have exactly this issue since over a week ago. Any support would be welcome.

 

It seemed to coincide with my phonecall to change my service to a higher BB speed, but even with the new superhub installed yesterday the issue remains.
