Hello,
I am trying to get remote access working (remote desktop) in order to do this my ip needs to be accessible from another computer outside my network.
I am using radmin 3 trial.
I got port 4899 forward to 192.168.11.2:4899 from my buffalo router. I also have DNS domain from dyndns.com (my DNS: kintesh.ath.cx).
Without doing anything else, anyone should be able to see my router login on default port 80 (kintesh.ath.cx:80). However this doesn’t work. I can’t even ping using cmd or access my router settings from outside of my network. What’s interesting is that i can access my port by kintesh.ath.cx and the ping it using cmd by kintesh.ath.cx.
Any ideas. thanks in advance!

Hello
Have you got it so that the routers interface is accessible from the outside there is a setting to allow that I think on the buffalo, not too sure as I have retired my buffalo which had DD-WRT installed on.
