1Mb not 120Mb!

Hi Can someone check for problems in DD49 area?

Im only getting 1 or 2Mb , im supposed to be getting 120Mb approx...

Because it is misleading/incorrect as it is referring to the 30/60/100 speed doubling.

VM staff on here have confirmed only recently that 120meg has not started to roll out. And if you input your postcode on the doublespeed page, then click on the link "more about the upgrade", another box will come up and will probably state

For XXL customers, we won't just be taking you up to 100Mb broadband. Starting in the autumn, we'll be giving you an extra free boost to up to 120Mb broadband.

Hi Im supposed to be on 100Mb

Made a call to VM and got it sorted, well get about 90Mb just now :-)

never mentioned about double speed (120Mb)

as the learned mossman has stated above, the message in the green box in MyVirginMedia is incorrect and even then, 120Mb is not double speed for 100Mb. 120Mb is not going to be rolled out for a little while yet.

i was told 100Mb user will get 120Mb, you expecting 200Mb for 100Mb?

No i am not.

I was doubled from 50/5 to 100/5 as per schedule....i later decided i wanted the 10 u/s so paid for it

200Mb is only a long way off whisper at this stage and has not been mentioned anywhere official. Any XXL customer will be upgraded to 120MB where possible from 100 when they finish speed doubling other tiers and the local network is deemed capable.
