Re: slow speeds after r36 update

Maybe everyone had the same idea to run a speedtest?

Die-hard direct connection modem user :smileytongue:
From low to high of Super Hub all I wanted was a modem not the VMDG280 (which back then is only what I would have gotten).
The more that use modem mode the more we need IPv6: Pingtest, 20Mb BB M, BQM, Gateway On/Off show, Outgoing ports test

Re: slow speeds after r36 update

Which speed test are you running against, try speedtest.net and set namesco london.

Also if you have a look at my post here: http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Up-to-100Mb-broadband/Packet-Loss-main-point-and-New-R36-Firmwar...

There are a couple of options i would double check on your router post the R36 upgrade.

Re: slow speeds after r36 update

I would try turning of the upnp option in your superhub if you dont use it (this has been know to cause issues on previous firmwares)

Might be worth to test even if you do use it.

Re: slow speeds after r36 update

Good show, however is it possible someone/thing inside your network was setting up upnp and eating into your bandwidth ?

Anyway glad it appears to have helped.
