Is this normal? I just wonder if i've been left behind? I am on DA1 4JL postcode
Also I regularly get T3 timouts and downtime of a minute or two each time but held off reporting it till I have the new speed in case the work done on the upgrade sort it out.
Power levels are all within spec but I get these timeouts on a daily basis..

I would give them a call and find out what your account is set at, also what speed does the superhub say its locking at ?

Hi
Thanks for the response
when I sign into my account on the VM website, it says you areas not ready yet and says my speed is 50 meg and will be upgraded to 100 / 120 meg and offers me a link to discover when it will be ready.. I get this when I input my postcode DA1 4JL
Congratulations! The new double speed boosts are already up and running in your area.
We've finished upgrading the fibre optic network in your area.

From what ive heard they dont, possibly thats the reason why they have not upgraded you yet... im could be wrong.
They will likely to do upgrades in batches, so your going to have to be patient, but in honesty if you hear that someone close to you has got upgraded recently in a months time i would give them a holler on the blower again and see whats going on.

Hi steve..thanks
So should I install the superhub I have from back last year when I bought it but removed it again when the speeds were so poor?
Will I be able to swap it over without any assistance fomr the technical team?
I'm thinking I could wait for ever for VM to realise it's not upgraded and send me a superhub or someone to fit one..
regards

My speed was upgraded from 50 to 100. Two weeks later I got an email about needing a Superhub to replace my modem. I have now done this. Not much difference in speed, I was getting well over 50 on the modem once I had been upgraded. Only difference I can see is that the Superhub is using 5 download channels where as the modem was using 4.

Hi
Steve seemed to think my upgrade won't happen till I have a superhub on at my end and I know we can fit them ousrselves, I still have the one I bought last year but am wondering whther to just call techbnical and install it to see if the upgrade happens when the system sees it on the end.
I guess the answer is to call support and try and get their assistanc ein registering it once i've popped it in

HI supraman54
Due to the nature of the problem the only solution would be to call our customer support team on 150 from your landline or 08454541111 from any other phone.
If your post code is ready for upgrade, then customer services will be able to organise a upgrade for you.
