100 Mb upgrade

I have just been upgraded but I used to get 49-50 Mb download. I now get around 70Mb. The VM site says my current modem is fast enough when I test it. I am currently using the VNMG 300 modem. Is this ok for 100 Mb

Just run with just the modem on its own and got 100 Mb + speeds so it must be the router which is a Netgear wireless N300. Can anyone suggest what I can try next.

I have noticed your current router only has 10/100Mb ports so your only going to get around 70Mb, Im using the buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH flashed with DDWRT and the results are

As long as its has gigabit ports you will be fine

Thanks for that. I think I will buy a new router rather than getting a Superhub as I have read differing reports on that.

I keep switching from the hub to the vmng but been testing R36 out and it seems alright but the vmng still wins in my own opinion.
