Hi there,
I'm not sure why you have this issue to be honest, was going to suggest rebooting your boxes but I can see that was done yesterday, I also ruled out being signed in on 2 boxes as a possible cause but I can manage to do that ok here. All my valuable contacts are off due to the extended bank holiday, I will try and speak with them tomorrow for you.
Thanks

I can suggest you check if you are (or are not) using any proxying.
My home LAN has both a web-caching proxy, and was forcing all web (port 80) traffic through it, to ensure any connected devices are subjected to advert blocking & filtering.
I've removed the forced routing and removed YouTube from the web-cache filtering (squid with Adblock) and YouTube pairing now works. Without it, it doesn't.
This was easily tested by my using YouTube Remote on my smartphone using the cell network, and then on WiFi (the latter only works with forced proxy/caching off).

hi
i can confirm that i dont use web proxies!
i have done intensive troubleshooting at my end making sure that the servers are allowing my phone to connect to making sure that the dns cache is cleared to making sure that i have released the lease of the tivo boxes and making sure that they reconnect for a dhcp lease
to even trying static ip addresses but nothing seems to be working
i have had it working littrally before the original post but since then the 2nd box now doesnt want to connect
as when i wrote the original post i could pair it on the 2nd box but not the 1st box
Thanks
