Tivo+Samsung HT-C 6500

Hi, l just had my tivo installed today, l'm really pleased with it, Engineer have done really good job. Engineer have configured my peanut remote to l can use it to control volume not using my tv remote and here is my question, how/if l can configure my tivo remote to control volume from my home theater instead of my tv ?
Home theater Samsung HT-C 6500 5.1
