TO BE ANNOUNCED!!!

Hi All of my channel listings state 'to be announced' which is very annoying. I feel the need to add a new post as all other suggestions on here have not worked. I have tried 'connect to virgin media service now', I have tried re-starting the TiVo box, I have cleared thumb ratings and suggestions and I have cleared programme info & planned recordings. Can someone please help before I cancel my contract? Mark

I do t think you can cancel your contract untill you at least give virgin a chance to repair the box, which will probably be a box swap

I thought this was just me that this was happening to...

 

The other day I had some error message come up saying that If I don't connect to the VM Service now all the data the box has stored will run out and I won't be able to record etc...

 

I did as the box instructed and assumed it had worked. I went to try and set up a recording for next wednesday and can't because it says TO BE ANNOUNCED for 99% of the days and channels. Some are showing ok.

 

I've connected to the service again but it's not helping. :smileysad:

if you had a choice between sky and VM why did you pick VM? There must have been a reason. Now I Understand you are frustrated, but making comments like I wish I went with Sky seems a little rash. Yes someone else may have this problem. Hell dozens might. But as per recent press release theres probably about a million boxes and the majority of people have no real issues and never have, and I'm one of them. So rather than making statements like you wish you went to sky, considering you picked VM for a reason, I suggest you get an engineer out to fix or swap the box and you get the benefits of VM that you wanted.

Performing a reformat will fix your problem but you will lose your recordings and series links but you will lose them anyway if a tech visits -

 

Home/Help & Settings/Clear or rest TiVo box.  It will take around an hour, once it's done force another connection.
