I have had Tivo installed 4 days ago, all is working apart from being able to record remotely using my App on my iPhone - I am logging in using my normal NTL email address along with my usual password - I have selected my region 020 and my TV package which is XL - everytime I try to record a programme I get a message "Record Request Failed: Match Not Found for the given program"
I am using the TVGuide.co.uk app on my phone - I have tried un-installing the app and re-installing but it still doesn't work - I have also logged in using a friends log-in to see whether I can record on their Tivo system - it works properly - so there is nothing wrong with the app itself!
I have rang customer support and have had no luck with them - their response is that I will get a call back within 72 hours - never happened!!!!
Love Tivo but would really love this feature to work as I work away a lot.

Is it the email address and password that set the account up?
I know I have a few e-mails off the main account which you can set up but when I want to check the billing etc. it has to be the main e-mail/password to sign in.
It may be the same with the app.

I had loads of problems with the "TVGuide" app, so I installed the "Virgin Media TV Guide" app instead and it seems to be more reliable.
Not as well laid out so might be worth keeping both on your phone

Thanks for your replies - I've downloaded the Virgin App and it works - must be an issue with the "TV Guide App" - though not that keen on the virgin app design/layout but at least it works.

I posted the same question because i have both the TV Guide app and the VM app downloaded on my iPad and the TV Guide one won't record anything and i get the same message as you. Shame as it seems a tad better.
Hopefully someone can resolve it!

I been looking into this this morning and found that we have been seeing issues on IOS6 and iPhone 5, and IOS6 and iPhone 4 since the iPhone 5 launch on Friday. At the moment, its not clear if the issues are the same or different but an update is being developed to fix all. I don't have confirmation of when the update will made available but as soon I do, I will let you know.

Seems both the tvguide and virgin media apps don't work now. Anyone know if we just have to wait for fixes to either?
