Please add "SET REMINDER" function to Tivo, its IMPERATIVE.

Please add "SET REMINDER" function to Tivo on the next upgrade, i am so disapointed that it is not available with Tivo.  I am honestly going to change back to the V+ box if this function is not added.  I used to set REMINDERS for the full night meaning all the programmes i wanted to WATCH, i watched.  I know you can record them obviously, bt i DONT WANT to record my fav programmes, i want to watch them as soon as they start.  i have many but as just one example, The other night i was watching a recording and missed the live boxing that i was waiting days to watch, ok i had it on record but by time i remembered it had started, someone had already posted the results on Facebook and it ruined my day :@............ SET REMINDER function is imperative and i would honestly rather have my V+ box if it meant i had the use of the REMINDER function.  Since getting my Tivo, THREE poeple i have told about Tivo not having REMINDER function have decided to stick with their V+ until SET REMINDER is available.  For your information i dont have a great memory due to medical reasons so the SET REMINDER option was the BEST thing about TV for me and MANY MANY others. Yes its been brought up before and its coming in an update one day ..... but just record everything and u dont need them any more its a bit of an outdated way of watching tv imo

You don't need reminders! The point of TiVo is you watch tv when you want to not when it's on, simply record things you would have set a reminder on and watch it when you actually want to not when sheduled.

Reminders aren't going to happen with TiVo.    TiVo isn't set up for it and VM aren't going to spend time/money developing it. (VM - please correct me if I'm wrong).

There is a PC app available that will change your TiVo channel at preset times if its of any use:-

We seem to be going backwards with the TiVO box; is it really that hard for TiVO/VM to come up with a system ppl want?

Wish I knew about all this with the TiVO box before I got one. Looks like I will be bring the V+ box from up stairs and the TiVO in its place.

I could go on but whats the point , VM dosnt care as long as the DD are there every month!
