How do I get hold of someone with some authority that can tell me if reminders are going to be implented in the TiVo or not, if the answer is no then I'm sending this box back, I have 5 days left to do so, if I can't get a hold of any definitive answers in the next day or two then I'll just send it back anyway, the 'update' thread by Simon Hunt makes no mention of reminders being implemented, this feature was very important to me on my V+ box due to some personal reasons. Thank You.

i don't understand the need with 3 simultaneous recordings but as u said its important to u its a shame one thing like that spoils the experience.

From reading all updates over the months i can safely say its not coming soon if ever because they are so obsolete

They are not obsolete at all. I never use them - I use Change Channel at Start instead - but reminders are important to a *lot* of people, which is obvious from the posts in this forum.

The TiVo may have been originally developed with the sole purpose of time-shifting, but they are being sold by VM as a PVR with tricks. They are not being promoted as a means of not having to watch live TV.

This obsession with reminders is just totally bizarre to me. To send the box back just because you can't set reminders in my opinion is crazy.

I haven't seen any posts saying that the box will be sent back because it doesn't have reminders. So who is being obsessive about it?
