Lost time info bar whilst fast forwarding

Not sure what the time info bar is called, but it's gone when fast forwarding (so you can't see how far theough a show you are) . I'm sure it should be fairly simple to get it back, any suggestions please ?

Have you checked the aspect ratio of the display on your television.  It might well be that the tracking bar at the bottom of your picture when fast forwardings is just off the bottom of the viewable area of your TV.  So check the aspect ratio on both the settings on the Tivo and on your Television.

Not to be rude but look at the question again.  He said it's gone, as in it was there before and but isn't there now which has nothing to do with the aspect ratio of his television.  Incidentally though, if connected via HDMI the TV should be set for no overscan (e.g. "Just Scan" on LG TVs, "Screen Fit" on Samsungs)

To the original poster: reboot the TiVo box.  First try a HDUI only reset:

Home button, thumbs down, thumbs up, play, play

If that doesn't solve it do a reboot:

Home button → Help & Settings → Clear or Reset the TiVo box → thumbs down, thumbs down, thumbs down → last ch

That'll probably clear it right up.

Thanks. The reboot fixed it ok. Nothing to do with aspect ratio on TV. Appreciate the suggestions

I'm seeing this frequently. Usually going back into the menu/my shows and making sure the preview is turned off fixes it. If not going into standby fixes things.

Never ever saw this before the most recent update, now happening several times a day.

Could someone from VM please comment and confirm that this will be investigated.
