It is slowing down!

Two weeks since installation and the TiVo is really becoming very sluggish. Was very responsive initially but is now much slower than my V+. Drive is 26% full. Any advice VM folks?

Try deleting some of the old recordings to see if that's causing the slowdown.

Wouldn't be much point in having a 1tb Drive if you have to delete stuff to stop it slowing down

well i'm getting the same problem when i first got the box i never got that red circle loading Logo now i get it all the time

Only two weeks since installation and my Tivo is also slowing down. Only 14% full and I regularly delete suggestions etc. if I don't want/need them. Keep getting the red circle now - very annoying. What's it going to be like if I get to 50% or more?

Ive been getting the same its so slow to respond to the remote and ive only used 26% of recording space...why.

Also get the red circle.

Mine has slowed down now with 25% used.

This isn't a known issue, and the box does not get slower as you fill it up. Mine is at 65%. Try rebooting.

mine is at 37% and the box had a vast jump in speed lastweek. the wife left the box on(not on standby) for three days,as we where away for the weekend.

before we went away she deleted loads of suggestions, but she also booked in loads of stuff to record.

All recordings recorded fine.

the Tivo box is now more responcive than before the weekend away.

Tivo has only rebooted a couple of times in three months.

Wife has removed loads of thumbs ups, and now uses the wishlist more.

Im in an ex-telewest area(if that helps.
