Google Chrome Tabs

I have just moved from Internet Explorer to using Google Chrome as my preferred browser ... should have done it ages ago.  There is one setting that I just can't find.  In IE, if I right clicked on a link and selected 'Open in a new tab' it automatically took me to the new tab.  When I do the same in Chrome it doesn't ... the new tab is created but then I have to physically click on the new tab to see its contents.

I explored settings but I can't find anything to change this behaviour.  Any Chrome users out there have a solution please?

Re: Google Chrome Tabs

ctrl+shift+left click links or shift+middle click click links

Or use an extension to automate it, like: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tabs-to-the-front/hjaooagfdhdhmbfchnkhggjmacjlacla

Excellent, thanks very much for your help Shelke.  I have added the extension and it's working perfectly.    Smiley Happy
