Strange one here. Just got a new Dell XPS 13. Shortly after getting it my works WiFi kept switching off. After Virgin changing my router twice, so now on the third one, I discovered that it only does this when I switch on my new Dell laptop. The strange thing is the laptop works fine at home with no issues and that's Virgin media too. All other devices work fine at home and at work. It just seems as if the laptop and the works router don't want to know each other. I've been onto Dell and they have updated all the drivers remotely and its still doing it. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your reply. Had a read through the the forum link. Seems to be two problems., disconnecting from wifi and crashing wifi. Mines is crashing wifi. Dell are sending out an engineer to replace the wifi card with a different one. Hopefully that should fix it.
Don't worry there is none of any hardware problem. Its a software problem. Your issue is simply fixed by updating network drivers. If you are newbie to dell wireless connection setup and installing/ downloading wifi drivers then you may use Dell XPS 13 Manual and follow all steps given in it.
Dell remotely updated all the drivers but still no joy. The engineer is coming out to replace the WiFi card, so hopefully that helps.
The only thing I can come up with is to try the different settings for the Wireless Mode. Default is b/g/n. Try G only (though will limit your speed). I have a CGNV4 myself but don't use the Wifi as I have 5 Static IPs on my service.

Quick update. The Dell engineer came out today and replaced the WiFi card with an intel one. Apparently the "killer" wifi card, if that's the correct name, has issues with various routers. All seems to be working fine now. The engineer said this was only the second time he had seen this.
