loss of picture but sound is working

Earlier today i had a brief loss of services with my cable and broadband, after a few minutes the problem seemed to sort itself out apart from my cable box. I can get the sound from the cable but no picture, the channels change and remote seems fine (i have also checked and rechecked the wirings) but i just get a black screen. Please help!

Hi ann3003,

This really does sound like an issue with your connections, even though you have said you have checked them, could you please remove your scart lead completly (the lead that joins the set top box and TV) then re-insert it.

If that doesn't work, do you have a spare scart lead you could try in its place?

I have just unplugged the leads and waited a few moments before rewiring, Glad to say everything is working again. thank you
