can i watch my channels online

hi. can anyone tell me if its possible to login and watch my virgin channels online???     ((for instance,, if i was away from home and wanted to watch on my laptop)?

I dont think so yet.

but other tv companies do and sky do it for their customers so virgin are lagging behind in this area.

I would prefer to watch programmes through my pc as well, especially if they could pump it out in HD.

You could do this with a sling box that connects to your STB and then to your internet router. you will need to intall the software that comes with it on your computer then you will be able to watch you v TV anywhere you get an internet connection. Wont be as good quality over the net but on your home network it should be alot better.

I don't think the demand is there for this

All the BBC channels are online for free, ITV has net player and 4 has 4 on Demand. Other then that there isn't much on tv which isn't on those players.

I think sky are doing it is a bit pointless. I can't imagen someone watching a football match on the internet
