We have an existing Samsung VBox, is it possible to get an upgrade to provide HD - ie just a standard HD box instead of the older pre-HD model?

Go to My VirginMedia and look at My Offers. You should find that you can have the box replaced with an HD one for the price of postage and package, £20.
