Firstly, sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find an answer to my enquiry.
My V+ Box is usually prompt and I am very happy with the Virgin Media service, however, I have one issue.
The use of the remote itself responds fine with the box - only when entering any search function or where letters or numbers are required - say the V+ Box search option or within interactive section . Moving around the interactive section by numbers or arrows and selecting is fine, as only one press is required.
For example - If I wanted to enter the letter C - It gets as far as A and sometimes B and then does not seem to register - it just moves along the entry box, prompting for a new letter. It seems to apply to all buttons.
I have fresh batteries in the remote, is this a remote issue or can something be done at VM end if I ring them? If it is a remote issue VM - please arrange for a new remote to be sent to me. I assume a new remote will be free? VM please confirm accordingly.
