Bravo channels

hi i was wondering if anyone knows whats is happening with the bravo channels with virgin,

as i am on the XL package and the channels are currently stating that "programmes are no longer available" this is showing for all of the bravo channels including +1 and bravo 2 it is also showing for jackpot. i was wondering what the reason for this is as i have recieved no information about any change in my channels, the same has also happened with my mums bravo channels and she is also on the XL package.

so any ideas for why this has happened?

"yep- its gone as of today"

Thanks for letting us know in advance.  I presume this means I can cancel my TV package now.  Bravo I'm not too concerned with, but if "Channel One" is going too --- what's the **bleep** point. :smileymad:

"Channel One" is going on Freeview too then ?

Where will we get Star Trek from now on?   The Sci-Fi channel doesn't really have that much real Sci-Fi.   It doesn't appear to be on Sky 1, as it was in the old days.   G.O.L.D. doesn't have Doctor Who, like it did in the old days (I'm talking OnDigital days).

If a significant change in features and channels is made to the disadvantage of the customers I'm taking this as a breech of contract --- regardless of what anyone else might say on here.  I bought a full package of TV - all the channels, HD, V+ and that includes all the bits which go with it, including TV Choice on Demand.  If there are significant changes to the contract without compensation with other features / channels then it is a breech.

ps. Does anyone know when Channel One is going off air ?

Re: Bravo channels

Why were virgin customers not informed of this massive change to our packages in advance seeing as judging my wiki virgin has know since september?

Will TNA be available on any of the other channels and will there be and change in the cost of the package/ an addition of channels to replace bravo etc

seeing as we are no longer recieving the amount of channels promised in our contract should we not have recieved written notice of this change and any information of a replacement or solution for the tv shows showen on bravo?

And surely our bills will be reduce if no replacement is offered as we are paying for more channels are being broadcast to us?

Re: Bravo channels

Yes this is my understanding of it. This is not something we had any control over as Sky have decided to cease broadcasting on Bravo. Apologies for any inconvenience caused but as you can appreciate this was not our decision as we do not own this channel

Re: Bravo channels

There is an official post on the sky facebook saying that TNA will be coming to a Sky channel (Not sky sports tho) so it should not cost you any extra,

I agree that we should be giving some kinda of replacement, im on the m+ plan and now were 2 channel down!

does this mean we should expect our bills to be reduced or replacement channels to be offered

once again i ask Why were we not informed of this as soon as virgin became aware of the situation as a customer in a binding contract with virgin we should have been notified of any changes affecting our service as due to the goods and services act of 1982
