unable to set online recordings for sky sports

That is the message I get when trying to set up a TiVo recording online even though I am subscribed to Sky Sports & Sky Sports HD.

 

Any Ideas???

Hi Treaddie, 

 

Thanks for your post and apologies for the issues you are having setting up recordings via the app. 

 

Are you trying to set the recordings via the TV Anywhere app listings or via the Sky Sports app? 

 

If via the Sky Sports app, then it would be trying to send the record request to a Sky + box as opposed to your TiVo®. 

 

Instead, make sure you are using the TV Anywhere app. Go to the listings and select the programme you want to record.

The recordings I am trying to make are via TV Anywhere online & not the Sky sports app on Sky's website.

I get the feeling that somehow with TV anywhere on line they somehow do not know that I am subscribed to Sky Sports HD that is why I am always asked to upgrade?? I already am upgraded. The results I get are:

Definitely broken - just tried it with Sky Sports F1 HD. Screenshots attached:

And I am a Sky Sports and HD subscriber just to clarify.

I've done a bit of digging and need to check something with you both. 

 

Have either of you got TV Anywhere set-up on a tablet / mobile using the app version? If so are you able to successfully set-up recordings for the Sky channels via the app?

Hi,

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with the Virgin Media app installed & I am able to set up Sky & Sky HD Sports recordings from the tablet.

Can I please ask what internet browser you're using? We're trying to replicate the error our end but it seems to be working as normal.

Hi, the browser I am using is Internet Explorer 11. If it is a browser problem why will it not let me set Sports HD recordings?
