getting message 'device registration required' when device is registered

It'll help if we had some further information on this
What device are you using?
A mobile device or Laptop?
What is the make and model?
When logging into anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Device Settings, is your device named here?
It may be worth trying to delete the device and then re registering.

Its a samsung galaxy s 4 mobile, it is showing as a registered device as 1 of the 2 permitted. if i delete it then i will have to wait till may to register again and was hoping to use for my holiday in 10 days

Looking at the account I can see there is one device change left. Please use this to register the device
Just as a side note, are you going abroad on holiday or staying in the UK? TV Anywhere will only work when connected in the UK due to rights restrictions.
