Re: sky sports

As I said, you're best off using Firefox for Sky premium channels via VM in Windows 10.

As I also said, you'll need to install the Silverlight plugin to it.

Re: sky sports

Hi I've managed to sort out the problem I had in not being able to get sky sports and sky cinema on my laptop via virgin media anywhere. I didn't realise that there are 2 browsers on my new laptop ,Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 until this morning.By simply opening Internet Explorer 11 when I want to watch sky spots and cinema it immediately sorted the problem. Many thanks to all who gave me advise.regards Steve.

Re: sky sports

Have you recently upgraded to Windows 10?

Delete your device here:

http://anywhere.virginmedia.com/settings/devices/sky/

then re-register it by try to start streaming.

Re: sky sports

Hi stevecc,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you here and I can only apologise for the issues you are having trying to access Sky Sports via Virgin Media.

It would help if we knew a little more about the issue you were having.

Are you able to sign in to the website?

What happens when you click on something yo play?

You currently have a space left to register the device and a change to use too.

Let me know how you get on so I can help further.

Thanks,

Kath_F

Re: sky sports

Hi I've recently bought a new laptop and its got the Microsoft browser installed on it. And  when I'm at my caravan I use virgin media anywhere which works really well except when I want to watch sky sports and cinema. A message comes up  saying "google chrome no longer supports watching tv on this website  and to use internet explorer or safari".  can you help please.?

Re: sky sports

Hi stevecc,

Thanks for coming back to us.

Following on from what Crockret has posted above, Google Chrome is unsupported as it doesn't allow the use of third party add ons.

For TV Anywhere and the Sky sites, you will need Adobe Flash and Silverlight installed.

Keep us posted Smiley Happy

Thanks,
