sky sports unavailable

I cannot watch sky sports on my laptop as it is telling me that chrome is no longer supported. I have removed chrome as my browser but it still keeps coming up. I can view it on my ipad but for some reason its not allowing me to watch it on the laptop

Re: sky sports unavailable

For Sky Sports on a Windows PC you need to use IE11 or Firefox - browsers which can support the Silverlight plugin. You also need to ensure you've got the latest version of Silverlight.

If you've got a Mac then it's Safari or Firefox.

Re: sky sports unavailable

Hi znarf23,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community.

Chrome isn't a supported browser as it blocks any 3rd Party plug ins such as Adobe Flash and Silverlight.

You will need to re-register your device using Internet Explorer or Firefox. Open one of these browsers and go to the Sky Sports website. Once here, select a channel to stream and you should then be automatically registered.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
