sky sports telling me device not registered and can't reregister this month

I can watch streaming programs on TV anywhere on iPad. When I try to watch sky sports it tells me device not registered and can't change until next month.  I upgraded to new iOS, iPad definitely registered. Have logged out on sky sports and logged back in but no help.

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue adding your device for use with the Sky apps. If you updated the app or the OS then you would need to re-register your device.
 
The TV Anywhere and Sky platforms are separate and therefore not synced so any changes made to one, also need to be made to the other. 
 
You can manage the devices you have registered for use with the Sky platform by going to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Sky Movies & Sky Sports. 
 
For now though I have reset the iPad registration for you and added a device change. If you try streaming from your iPad now, it should work.

I am currently experiencing the same problem. I sent an email to sky support and they sent this useless reply

They clearly didn't read my email, as it isn't even sky go that we use.

I have already replied to your thread here: My device is registered but I still can't watch sky sports

 

Please make sure you are only posting once about your issue. We understand it's frustrating when something's not right however posting more than once about the same fault makes the boards look busier than what they actually are. It also means we could take longer to reply due to needing to sift through duplicate posts.
 
Have a look at my reply on the other thread and stick with that one so we keep all the information in one place.

working. Thanks.  I had to reset my iPad after update, probably what caused the problem. I have had my gripes about Virgin but the forum always comes up trumps.
