Anytime i sign into sky sports with my virgin account i get an error message that says 'apologies, this item has been interrupted due to an error' i refresh the page and still get the same error. any ideas?

What version is this?
The PC / Laptop you're using, what OS is it running?
Do you get the same issue on another device?

I'm using Firefox updated to the most recent version on an hp envy 15 laptop running windows 10. I also get the same problem on my other laptop. thnaks

You're currently meeting all specifications so there isn't a reason why this shouldn't work for you
Make sure your Silverlight version is completely up to date too as Sky use this.
When using TV Anywhere: anywhere.virginmedia.com, do you get the same issues or does streaming content play correctly?
I have refreshed the registered device with Sky so try again to stream and let me know how it goes.
