Re: iPad tells me my sky sports app has reached its limit

Sorry to hear that you are unable to use Sky Sports through your iPad due to the error of device limit reached.
If you sign into your account, on the right under My Profile select Sky Movies & Sky Sports. Here you should see the iPad as registered, if so remove the device, and as you have one device change available go back into the Sky Sports app, select a channel and this will prompt for re-registration of the iPad. You can also try to re-install the app.
