grey screen on anytime tv

Why am I unable to watch TV on the go keep getting grey screen on all channels ( channel 4, sky 1, skysports )
This has been like this since the weekend

Apologies to hear you aren't having much luck trying to stream. We can certainly look into this for you though.

 

Are you using the Online or App versions of TV Anywhere and Sky Sports?

 

If online version:

What OS is your PC/Laptop running?

What browser are you using and which version is it?

What version of Flash Player are you using?

Do you get anything different if trying another browser?

Are you trying to watch Sky Sports, Sky 1 and Channel 4 all via the same website?

 

If app version:

What is the make and model of your device?

What OS is the device running?

Have you used the app on this or any other devices previously?

Are you using both the TV Anywhere and the Sky Sports app or just TV Anywhere?

 

Let me know so we can help further with this.

I'm using the app on Samsung galaxy alpha and Samsung tablet 2 on Android 5.0.2
I use tv anywhere and have the skysports app downloaded which sometimes works.

Both are all up to date on all software and have deleted and reinstated the apps without luck.

I have been using the anytime tv app for over a year and only recently it gone bonkers

Thanks for coming back to me with this information. 

 

It looks as though there was a general fault affecting our customers with this that has since been resolved. 

 

How are things since you last posted? Are you still getting the same issues?

Hi Kath, it does work however I have to use my mobile as a portable hotspot as through WiFi ( which is provided by virgin ) doesn't work on anytime tv.......

Thanks for getting back to us with that information. Apologies that accessing TV Anywhere is still proving difficult. I'd like to get to the bottom of what's causing this problem and get this working properly for you, so if you don't mind, I have a few more questions for you.

Are you still getting a grey screen when trying to steam Channel 4 on your mobile using the app?

When using the TV Anywhere app or Sky Sports app on your tablet, what error are you getting when trying to stream a live channel? (without your mobile set to a WiFi hotspot)

Also, you will need to delete one of your devices on the TV Anywhere and Sky Sports apps and re-register your tablet. I have made sure that you have a device change available for both TV Anywhere & Sky Sports.

Also, around the time that you started having this problem, did you download any updates for your mobile and tablet?

I have reset your TV Anywhere on the main server and sent new signals to your TiVo. Reboot your TiVo and then retry streaming to Channel 4 on the TV Anywhere app and Sky Sports 1 on your Sky Sports app. 

If this still is not working, please uninstall and reinstall the apps again.Please let me know how this goes.
