Re: connecting tv anywhere on another android phone(s6)

Hi gabbyevs

Sorry to hear that the TV Anywhere app is unable to connect to your TiVo® box and that is times out.

The TV Anywhere should work fine on the Samsung S6. If you can make sure that the TV Anywhere app is up to date and the check your OS on the phone as it is now compatible with Lollipop it should go through. When you sign into the app is it then that it wont find the TiVo® box? At the moment I am unable to see that the Samsung S6 is registered for TV Anywhere. As you have a slot free, register the S6 then try to see if it works for you.

Let me know how it goes.

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam

Re: connecting tv anywhere on another android phone(s6)

Hi gabbyevs

Thanks for getting back in touch.

I can now see that the S6 is now registered. Is it when you open the app you get the error of box not found? As the app should install fine without that message.

If you can on the TiVo® box itself go to Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network Remote Control, then choose ''Allow network-based remote controls'' and press the green thumbs up button three times. Is the S6 currently connected to your own wireless network with the 3G/4G network turned off?

Regards

Sam

Re: connecting tv anywhere on another android phone(s6)

Hi gabbyevs

Thanks for getting back in touch.

The other thread you posted on, flooksie got it working again by changing the name of the iPad, completed a reboot of the router and TiVo® then it worked. Also the iPad was connected to the guest network flooksie created through the router.

Is the Samsung S6 currently connected to your network? Did you check the Allow network-based remote control to see if that was enabled?

Regards

Sam
