can't sign in to virgin media app

Just installed the TV Anywhere app but it won't let me sign in using my username and password even though those work fine logging in on the website. Says invalid username or password. Is there a problem?

I'm sorry to hear that you are not having any luck signing in to TV Anywhere. Do you have a TiVo® box?

What device are you using? Android or Apple?

What is the make and model?

 

Make sure you are typing in your details and not allowing the device to auto fill them. 

 

It may be worth logging in to My Virgin Media here: http://virg.co/myVM > My Profile > Update my password. 

 

Doing this will ensure everything is refreshed. 

 

Keep me posted on how you get on.

I've reset my password but to no avail.

Have you tried the steps laid out in my post above? 

 

Do you have a TiVo® box?

What device are you using? Android or Apple?

What is the make and model?

 

Also are you able to sign in to TV Anywhere online here: anywhere.virginmedia.com

What is the make and model? - Moto G4+

Also are you able to sign in to TV Anywhere online here: anywhere.virginmedia.com - Yes

Hi andy_48,

 

Thanks fro coming back to me with the answers to my questions. 

 

In order to use the TV Anywhere apps you will need to have an active TiVo® subscription as the apps are for managing your TiVo® box too. 

 

You can upgrade to include TiVo® with the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111. Give them a call and let us know how it goes. 

 

If you would rather not upgrade to TiVo® then you can still use TV Anywhere via your PC or Laptop online.
